Willful’s Premium Coverage x 2 plan provides a complete set of documents for two or more adults. Each individual gets their own secure account to create and manage their legal documents independently, ensuring privacy and flexibility. This setup also makes it easy to update documents in the future.
Step 1: Complete Your Purchase
To invite someone to join your plan, you’ll first need to complete your purchase.
Step 2: Invite Someone to Your Plan
Once your purchase is complete, follow these steps to invite another person:

Access Account Settings:
- Log in to your Willful account.
- Click 'Menu' in the top-right corner and select 'Account Settings'.

Send an Invite:
- From the "Your Account" page, locate your plan details.
- Click the 'Send Invite' button.
- Enter your invitee’s name and email address, then send the invitation.
Step 3: Recipient Accepts the Invite
Your invitee will receive an email with instructions to 'Claim Their Prepaid Plan'. They’ll need to:
- Click the link in the email.
- Create their own Willful account to manage their own documents.
Step 4: Confirm the Invitee’s Status
Once the invitee redeems their plan, a green checkmark will appear next to their name on the account settings page. You can also cancel or resend invites from this dashboard if needed.
Troubleshooting tips
Before sending the invitation, double-check the email address to ensure accuracy. Here are some quick tips:
- Verify spelling: Confirm there are no typos in the email address.
- Watch for spaces: Ensure there are no extra spaces at the beginning or end of the email.
Once the invitation is sent, allow up to 30 minutes for the recipient to receive it. Ask them to check their spam or promotions folder if they can't find the email.

Error: Email address already in use
This means the person has an existing Willful account with Willful. In that case, the person has a few different options:

- Use a different email: If your loved one has another email address, you can send the invite there instead.
- Delete their existing account: They can log in, go to the menu in the top right corner, select "Account Settings," and scroll to the bottom of the page to delete the account.
- Request account deletion: If needed, they can email us directly, and we'd be happy to take care of it.
